Rush is About to Get F%$*@$^ Up!!

You have probably heard by now that Rush Limbaugh referred to servicemen and women who disagree with the Iraq War as "phony soldiers."  Well, VoteVets.org has responded.  Limbaugh should probably wear a helmet whenever he leaves the house.

This latest tit-for-tat between the left and right stems from the MoveOn.org ad regarding General Petreus.  I think the ad was gratuitous and over-the-top, but the right's response has been even worse.  Limbaugh took it to a new level and now this.  Hopefully, this ad will close the door on this back-and-forth.  The right really stuck its foot in it on this. This ad cuts to the chase.

Please. Let's grow up. We allow Rush Limbaugh to matter more than he should. We should be ashamed to admit that we listen to his publicized flatulence.

Tit for tat, no. Both Move On and Rush were wasting their freedom of speech. But, really. Who cares? What difference does this make? We're still steeped neck deep in an occupation of a sovereign nation that was never a plausible threat to us with neither plan nor strategy for exiting. So, let's focus a little less attention on these ridiculous meaningless distractions and get some work done on our real problems.

Again, no one gives a rat's behind about Rush, Move On, or the rest of these distractive propagandists whose only objective is to take our focus off our real problems. This silliness is not the real issue. Occupying Iraq illegally based on lies and deceit IS!

Joe,

It's already been demonstrated that the transcript was edited. A real transcription of the conversation, along with unedited audio, can be found here: http://mediamatters.org/items/200709270010?f=h_top

May I make a suggestion...go to rush's website and read the transcripts of the conversation and view video from his website for yourself! You are being LIED TO BY Media Matters. They know it, Harry Reid knows it, Tom Harkin knows it, MSNBC, CBS, NBC CNN all know it. ABC news even ran a story on Jesse Macbeth 2 days before Rush made his comments. There are numerous stories on "phony soldiers" (a Seattle based paper ran a story today on numerous phony soldiers stealing benefits). What MoveOn.org did was reprehensible but it fits a pattern of leading Democrats (Obama, Clinton, Reid, Durbin, Kerry, Edwards, Murtha) who routinely smear the military and then say they support the troops and take great umbrage when folks say they are unpatriotic.

You would do well to do your OWN homework and not depend on Hiliary Clinton front groups (she is on RECORD saying she supports AND help to start Media Matters and center for American Progrss) to provide you with information that is clearly false and slanderous. MoveOn.org is trying desperately to climb out of the hoe it dug with the Gen. Patreus ad...and it can't.
